   Cambie su nombre con el Seguro Social primero

   Otras agencias aprenden de un cambio de nombre por el Seguro Social. Notifique a la SSA primero. Lleve un certificado de matrimonio o divorcio certificado.

   Espere a que el Seguro Social procese antes de ir al DMV

   Los DMV estatales suelen revisar su nombre nuevo contra los registros del Seguro Social. Si la SSA no ha procesado su cambio, el DMV puede negar su solicitud.

   Actualice su pasaporte en su propio plazo aparte
