An ex parte renewal is when the state renews your Medicaid on its own. It uses records it already has, so you fill out no form.
The agency checks wage records and other data sources it already trusts. If everything still matches, it renews your coverage on its own. You get a notice about the renewal, but there is no form to send back.
This word shows up in Medicaid renewal notices that arrive without a form attached.
“without requiring information from the individual if able to do so based on reliable information contained in the individual's account or other more current information available to the agency”
