What your money turns on

Eight tools, on for every member you cover

One flat fee turns on all eight. Every sponsor gets the same set. Members never pay us.

  • Help filling the form, field by field.
  • One place to keep their papers, ready to use again.
  • A voice session in the app when reading is hard.
  • An appeal or response packet, put together for them.
  • We watch every program and every date for them.
  • A family member or aide can help, with their permission.
  • One plan for all their benefits, in one place.
  • A look at other programs they could apply for.

Reading any letter is free for every person. So is the due date, the next step, appeal rights, Spanish, and the phone line. That holds whether you sponsor or not.

A member with no health plan gets every tool free too.

Plainly is free to use. Always.

What members see

One line, on the tools you pay for. We wrote it and it never changes.

Your plan, {plan}, pays for this. You never pay.

You write none of it. There is no logo and no link.

It never shows up where a member is choosing a plan.

What you see

State files tell you who left. They do not tell you why, and they come too late.

Plans told KFF the state files leave out the reason and carry old phone numbers.

KFF, 2024

You hear about it while the member still has days left, not after the file lands.

  • Why they are stuck

The mix of reasons, counted from members' own renewals. Counts, never names.

  • How much time is left

How many are inside seven days, and how many inside thirty. Dates we verified, never guessed.

  • Whether they went quiet

How many stopped answering after our reminders, week by week.

Counts of the people who chose to share with you. Never a name, and never a number small enough to point at one person.

  • How many people chose to share with you.
  • How many have a renewal open right now.
  • How many are past the due date.
  • Which way those counts moved over four weeks.

How many of your members asked you to sponsor Plainly. Eleven or more, or nothing.

We hold nothing of yours, and we show nothing that points at a person.

See what we hold, and our rules for small numbers

What it costs

Three prices, published, the same for every plan. Each one stands alone. None of them needs another.

Sponsorship

The tools, on for your members

We have not published this rate yet. When we do, it will be right here.

Same rate for every plan. Month to month. Cancel any time.

The weekly counts

A separate subscription for the full weekly picture of the people who named you.

You can sponsor without this. You can buy this without sponsoring.

Sponsored outreach

A short note from Plainly to your own contact list. It says you paid for it.

A worked example

You sponsor an intro to ten thousand of your members by email.

A services contract comes first. A business associate agreement is added only if you sponsor outreach, because you hand us a contact list for it.

We bill a flat rate, and for messages we send. We never bill for an outcome.

Medicare work is never shared and never billed.

Why this is not a kickback

  • Every plan pays the same published rates. Nobody gets a better deal.
  • We are paid the same whether coverage is approved or denied.
  • We never rank plans, compare plans, or point a member toward any plan.
  • Members get the same free help whether their plan pays us or not.
  • We tell the member that you pay us, right when they choose to share.
  • The free view is free for every plan, forever. It is not a trial.
  • A member with no health plan gets the same tools free. Sponsoring is not the price of the product.
  • Sponsoring buys no placement. We never rank, badge, or suggest a plan, anywhere.

We do not claim a safe harbor. We built it so there is nothing to steer.

What we will not do

  • We do not rank or compare health plans, anywhere in Plainly.
  • We are not paid more when someone keeps coverage.
  • We do not sell member data to anyone, ever.
  • Members choose to share. They can stop sharing at any time.
  • Medicare work is never shared and never billed.
  • We never show any plan a member's name. No contract changes that.
  • We never tell you which members asked you to sponsor.
  • Sponsoring never changes what we show a member about any plan.

Start with your work email

Set up your plan view in a few minutes. We send a code. There is no password to make.

Sponsoring starts there too. You read the terms, you pledge, and we set up the invoice with you.
