What this notice usually means
This letter tells you VA's Debt Management Center says you owe money to VA. This often happens after VA pays too much disability pay, pension, or education benefits. It can also happen after unpaid medical care or drug store copays. The letter explains why VA says you owe this debt. It also lists the amount. VA decides if the debt stands. It lists ways to dispute or pay it.
